My Father's Secrets
My Father’s Secrets is a compelling memoir of a child raised in a military family from the Korean War through the Cold War and into the Vietnam Era. Her father had been in WWII as a P-38 pilot and then a POW, his career would span three wars as a fighter pilot.
As the daughter of an Air Force fighter pilot, world events would dictate my future life. I never knew where I would live next. I was the kid from nowhere and everywhere during the time of the Korean War, the Cold War, the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights Movement. I grew up on the front row of history. My Father’s Secrets tells the story of intelligence gathering through reconnaissance flights, secret missions and even his personal secrets are revealed through his invisible military family living across the world fighting for freedom, knowing that our life was always second to the importance of the United States.
